Palmetto Care Connections (PCC) is one of the nations largest broadband consortiums. PCC is committed to establishing fully integrated health care communities by providing a dedicated, secure network with essential connection capabilities for healthcare data, medical images, telehealth, bridge access, electronic health records, etc.
PCC works with the FCC’s Rural Health Care program, the Healthcare Connect Fund, to provide subsidy reimbursements for up to 65% of costs of broadband and internet.
Since 2013 In South Carolina, PCC has helped healthcare facilities save more than $12 million through the program. That’s money that can be re-invested in patient care, community health programs or technology and telehealth enhancements.
